steveVR6 0 Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 helloI've been having alot of touble with my vr6 and pretty much replaced everything ,alls left is the piston rings.could someone tell me if this engine code is the 2.9 ABV 00 10 321 . I got aset of pistons rings from VW dealer and only have 1 set which are oversized 82mm.the problem is I tryed one of the rings in the bore and it overlaps by 2mm.Went back to vw and say thay are the right rings.hopefully someone on here can help me out.
