If there are any near where you live, you can also use the ride to check out the corners on those B-roads If you wanna stick with the running, rather than biking, just stick with it. It will get easier, honestly! You'll also find that the fitter you get, the more you will catch 'the bug' and you won't need to motivate yourself as much to do it. The thing which i find helps the most is listening to music while i work-out, makes it alot less boring.Oh yeah one more thing.....keep a record of your times, because that will help to keep your interest.
