ian 182 0
It also does'nt help if you have a big air filter on it.This can muck your temps up tooian

matth76 1
90 is the normal operating oil temp... however depends on the weather and how it's driven. Mine stays around this if doing a steady 30 to 60mph...but will hover between 90-100 when going down the dual carriageway. Basically don't take your car over 3000 revs when cold until it has reached 90 deg..takes about ten mins to warm up.
jpc 0
Mine used to site between 102-115!! until I stuck a new oil cooler in and bang! 90-102 now
Eat this 2
if just gentle commuting to work it never reaches 90 had a play with a bike (wayyyy quicker straight line wayyyy slower on bends lol) got it to 102 highest icv ever seen was
B6MFD 0
my water pump went the other day, before the highest it got to was 104, then after the new water pump it was getting to 110 so i had to slow down, any 1 explain this?
matth76 1
Might be worth checking your thermostat too mate. Could be slightly faulty. 110 is quite high for an average temp although its not damaging and still within safe limits. Anything over 120 is starting to get high.
