IbiVR 0
There just for illustration in that pic, we are still testing turbos for reliability / driveability before we will offer them for sale. We have most of the other parts required though. PM me and I can help you out.Tom.
FishWick 21
Manifold looks excellent. Wish I'd know that a year ago! You have PM.
paul_c 1
You can fit a raceloogic launch/traction control system or similar - u wont get any wheel spin then :0)Doesn't that just reduce power though? So, the statement that you can only get 400bhp in 1st or 2nd, or whatever, still applies.
vr6turbo 27
as far as the kit is concerned it looks great till you get to the intake manifold,i got one on ebay and had alot of problems getting the injectors to seal properly due to the crap way it was made.its a rough castingi have one sitting in my garage in a box!!the best intake on the market in my opinion is the shimmel it is machined and precise, and fits first time without having to tap or modify it in any way.apart from the isv i had a pipe welded on so i could fit the isv
FishWick 21
You got a schimmel aswell then? Great mod.... naturally aspirated too!
vr6turbo 27
i made 350 at 11.5 psi of boost and even without an lsd ,if the engine is set up right, and you expect torque steer, then its very drivable. An extra 100bhp and you definately will need a heavy duty clutch and an LSD, also your drive shafts would need uprating.the gear box would benifit from a rebuild before fitting. stevegolfvr6 0
thank you very much, think the 2nd link will be more suited as plannin to run a fair bit of power next question is can sum1 recomend a lsd thats drag spec? i.e. a close to a locked diff as poss.ive heard a few people using 1 begining with p but i cant for the life of me remember what the name is lol
FishWick 21
You will also need a stronger gearset if gunning for the kind of torque that necessitates unbreakable shafts.Shame the Stealth/Gemini 6 cog set is no longer made. But there's quaife's set which can take the torque - at the expensive of service life.
