obd 2 charger on an obd 1

ive found a charger for sale,he is advertising it as an obd 2 with all the parts needed and a chip,ive got an m reg vento vr,am i right in thinking this is obd 1?,would i just have to get my car re-mapped or are the parts differant aswell?think he said it was a z-engineering stage 1 but i could be wrong,he wants £1300,good price or not? will find out for sure what charger it is shortly.

if its that p**** on ebay with the full vortech kit, his user name is "towok" or something silly like that, dont buy it hes a con. that item has been relisted. the last time it was on ebay, he only wanted 1100, and said hed end the auction early, but he only accepts WESTERN UNION BANK MONEY TRANSFERE and comes up with every excuse not give his phone number. i asked numerous amount of times and he always came up with silly excuse.

i even said il come and collect it and pay cash... again he said hes always too busy and that the only way was western union.

personaly, id stay well clear if is the same guy but it may well not be. id just thought id post up.....

thats the same one,told him i could go on saturday with the cash and he hasnt replied,o well,i'll have to keep searching,cheers for that,you just saved me alot of hassle, anyone know of someone selling a charger?

plus the fact that chargers, unless they come with a bespoke chip are not obd1/2 specific, usually. you'd need it mapped to your individual car anyway as all cars are different!

the bloke is deffinately full of ****,he mailed me today and said we can only do the deal if i do the transfer first,he thinks meeting in person is to dangerous.
