antera309 3
My rear wiper arm has broken and I fancy replacing it with a more modern type to clean up the lines a little.Does anyone know what will fit straight on? Mk5 Polo or something perhaps?. It would need to have an integrated washer nozzle like the Mk3 one does.
MarkGolf 6
Got a whole new one with motor and everything attached if you decide you want one...Not sure any others fit without looking silly...Polo ones wont work as they are mounted through the glass...Arms from other cas tend to sit the wiper in the middle of the window... six appeal 53
I know years ago when I had a few Uno Turbo's the smooth Punto one used to fit and look nice.
acf8181 0
just get a new original one...ones from other cars will look weird.only thing worth doing is getting rid completely...but then you have a switch on the stalk that does nothing...this would bug me. unless you can use the wiper stalk from a cabrio?! VRmonster 1
or wire another washer jet and install it to your passenger side wing mirror so you can squirt padestrians. lol
VR6Steve 0
Or smooth the tailgate completely and use the rear wash/wipe switch to activate a boot solenoid?
VRmonster 1
nice idea steve. jus dont press it by accident with a bootfull of luggage, lol.
madmonkee 0
one problem with that. you have to press it twice quick to cancel the first press. like when u use the wiper, otherwise it keeps bloody going... as ive found
VRmonster 1
ha ha, never thought of that.
