mk3anni 0
I'd go for 22inch rims on a 150mm drop.
cadguy77 0
I'd go for 22inch rims on a 150mm drop.very helpful steveIt all depends on what look you want Nicky. Big shinny 17's or euro look 15's
mk3anni 0
Or get 16's if you want your car to handle.

mk3anni 0
In honesty you should be looking at 16's and 17's.If your after all out looks then go for the 17's, but be prepared to do some arch rolling if your going to lower it.If your after handling go for the 16's. My car was at its best on 16's, and while my 17's look good the car doesnt change direction anywhere as quickly as it used to, its all down to what your looking for. When you lower it go for a decent suspension setup too. Either Eibach/Koni shocks and springs or some good coilovers. Coilies aren't cheap but there worth the extra outlay. Don't dismiss the ARB's either, an uprated set makes one hell off a difference to the way the car handles.
Nickyvr6 0
thanks think id prefer the 16 and was just looking at eibach min ago.cheers nicky
c4mbl 1
would 17x8" fit? or does it have to be 17x7.5"?? sorry for interupting the thread!!
Nickyvr6 0
thats ok but i aint got a clue hun lol?
mannie 0
you are right nicky, imo, best to lower first then the wheels, that way no messing with clearance issues later on.
Jk* 0
From what ive learnt through reading threads like this (not through experience unfortunately) i reckon a 35-40mm drop on 17" but like said some arch rolling maybe need, 17x7 i think you should be pretty safe with though. Hope that helps somewhat. (h)
crish72 0
17 x 7 will be fine as that's what mine are with a 40mm drop.My previous wheels were 17" x 7.5"and they were also ok.Chris
