Eat this 2 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 i went london today with my mate to buy him a lovely purple highline 380 miles later were back in stoke and my car cuts out it cranks fine but has no intention of firing also the dash lights (oil battery etc) dont come on and the dials dont work or the mfai recently had an alarm fitted and while it appears to work fine there was alot of wiring involved im drawn to this being the cause has anybody had this problem could it even be the ecu?? antera309 3 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 Assuuming you've already checked the battery & fuses, it sounds like something may be amiss behind the fusebox. Check all the multiplugs are securely plugged in.. Link to post Share on other sites
Eat this 2 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 iv manually checked the fuses but it was dark theres millions of wires around the fuse box i did find 1 white 1and 1 green connector unplugged but i couldnt find where they go if anywhere im gonna have a proper look today il take the surround off the clocks and try to look behind the clocks im convinced its somethin stupid but its dam annoyin Link to post Share on other sites
