Ladies and Gents,

I have chatted on here before and have read the other links and know this is a big debate. But, I would be grateful if you could let me have your thoughts and comments please.

To start with I cannot do coilovers because of the cost. I will only upgrade to 16inch wheels at some point but want to try and keep a standard look to the car as far a reasonable (angel eyes and stainless exchaust apart) and I will not be racing the car.

Now I have finally found a link which gives me options - always dangerous :-p - kinda on the same pages!

I had sort of decided that the Gmax was an ok option as other members have had good experiences with them. However, as you can see from the link there are other more established brands and some I don't know for a very similar price.

So what do we all think? Stay with a brand I know (Koni/spax etc) or ........ *-)

If your just going spring and damper then you can't go wrong with koni/eibach combo....tried and tested by thousands of people

Ok sooooo, In this first link there are 2 types of front shocks. I can't spot the difference other than the price. Am I just being a bit Tim nice but..?

My confusion is as they all have different codes so which is correct for my 97?

My research continues and I am told Koni dont make springs other than for coilovers so whose springs do they use in their package sets? Anyone know if its true and if it is - are they eibach which means I dont have to buy seperately?

Finally Ordered from a place called larkspeed in leeds and they have good prices in case anyone else is in need. don't know how their service is but they're ok on price. Wish me luck with the install.
