The_0ne 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Share Posted September 13, 2006 After christmas im looking to charge my VR6, was going to get a VF charger but been advised not to get the VF for numerous reasons and the ZR is a better supercharger.Anyway i have a few questions.Does anyone have any links to information about the ZR supercharger or a link to the people who make it? I cant seem to find any info on google :-( Also anyone on here running the ZR supercharger and if so how many miles you done "charged" and have you had any problems etc?Cheers people Link to post Share on other sites
wayne_1@tiscali.co.uk 27 Posted September 13, 2006 Report Share Posted September 13, 2006 ive had a zr2 charger very good charger u can buy new from sls in austria or z enginnering in switzerland but i also get second hand ones from time to time but i now have a vf9sq stage 3/4 charger kit and its the absoulute nuts much better than the z -charger but its down to u Link to post Share on other sites

mk3anni 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 Tap in to the block??If you mean the Vortech you have to tap into the Sump, oh no, how scary, took me all of 10 mins.The Vortech (assuming your referring to that when you say VF) is a far superior unit. The_0ne 0 Posted September 14, 2006 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 Yeah sorry the vortech charger.Midland VW have said the ZR is better and that they serivce loads of VW's mainly mark 2's that have a charged VR6 and the ones with the VF charger dont pull like the ZR chargers do?Just what i've been told Link to post Share on other sites
