DundeeDub 0
just looking about for some insurance so I can get my car back on the road, has anyone had any experience with Elephant and there Bonus Accelerator scheme, do other companies take notice or will they give you it cheap and then next year bump up the price knowing that you will have to take it.By the way the price i got for the Bonus Accelerator policy was - £286.64 !!!!!! with all mods declared (alloys, lowering, exhaust etc.)it was £324 for the normal fully comp policy or £306 for the policy from Bell
thegoth 5
I think I have read about people having problems with bonus accelerators, can't remember who's it was and who wouldn't accept it. I'm sure someone else will be along with more details. But I had no problem moving on from Bell after they had accelerated me to 5yrs NCB in a year :-) by matching my existing no claims when I insured both my VDubs with them.Moved to Adrian Flux for the VR and some new Irish company (Quinn Direct?) with the 16v.TG
craggsy 91
Most companies will only see 20 months NCB after 2 years claim free driving which they will say is 1 full year. I never bother as it can only piss you off when you change to someone else and they say sorry thats 1 year

goonersteve 0
It all varies from insurer to insurer. Best thing is just to check the terms and conditions Or get some kind of written confirmation from one of their members of staff, written in plain old English, so there is no dispute!
