Chrisdut 0
yeah you could fit and wire up electric seat, the aircon on the other handle will be a bit harder, you can fit an after market kit but to fit a factory kit will be alot harder and more parts will need sourcing
VR40 0
Gaz the seats in a highline aren't electric i'm afraid but they are heated...a bonus as this cold weather closes in!
rodney 17
there is a link on here where somone is in process of fitting air con. You will be suprised at the amount opf work involved
purple highline monster 0
just open a window and put the heater on, aircon is overated, especially in this country!
dellert 0
I disagree, air con is the mutts! I really miss it! Would not attempt to retro fit it unless I was gonna strip the engine out though. Would like the heated seats too, but last time I sat in some I farted and it makes them smell ten times worse! purple highline monster 0
my car has aircon and heated leather seats and a sunroof and 4 fully opening windows!!!!! why???????????????
dellert 0
See thats what I always wonder?! WTF does anyone want a sunroof for? They leak, they are noisy when open, and every time I use mine it screws up the immobiliser!Being an Aircon Engineer, I got a question I should know the answer to!Air con for building you can use on heat and cool, cos it got a 4way valve in. Does anyone use this on cars? Cos it would be near instant heat, which would be a huge bonus in the winter, making heated seats obsolete.
Focker-out 0
Unfortunately the aircon wont produce "instant heat" as the heat is supplied from the heater matrix which is supplied by the coolant water so it takes a few minutes to warm up like a normal car
VR6_Absy 0
I've fitted aircon on mine, it's possible but not easy. The heater matrix unit under the dash is a bitch to get in, shoe horn job lol.Mines fitted for me staffies who struggle a bit in the heat of the car. It's a big job ......... but then i luv a challenge ;-)
