Eat this 2
is it fine to remove it?do i just block the pipes?
Lizard Racing 0
I removed mine without any problems. Yes just block off the pipes. I did leave the valve plugged in because people have suffered bad idling, but I have since unplugged it and idle is fine.
Eat this 2
the wiring is knackered to my valve anyway, idle can be ever so slightly lumpy when its cold sometimes
craggsy 91
block the black one and then feed clear one down into wing

binliner 0
there's a bracket underneath, just a single screw undoes it iircsorry only just read your texts!!
stockers 1
no worries justin, mine didn't even have a screw, just a clip that pushes in then the canister falls out.
gavinvr6 0
i just want to make sure i get this right, the canister can be removed with no adverse affects to the car, and to do so i remove it via the drivers side arch with a screw than block the black pipe and feed the clear under the arch to vent. if its fuel fumes, can u not just link the black and the clear together to route the fumes back into the engine? or am i being stupid? also wont that make your car smell of petrol when you drive it if your venting fumes to the wheel arch?im onkly asking as i want to run the induction pipe through where the canister is to l;ocate the filter in the bottom of the arch behind the little grill in the bumper
craggsy 91
you'll be fine without it. Mines been out for about 2 or 3 yrs and no problems
jesterwalker69 0
locate the filter in the bottom of the arch behind the little grill in the bumperBe careful you don't mount it too low, you don't want to hydraulic the engine by sucking up water!
