rodney 17
Cararra Frames are OK and quite well balnced. But running gear cheaper to keep costs downI would suggest you fgo to an Independant or someone like evans and look at a specialized. These Frames are OK and the running gear and sussy bits are usually better quality. Also thee 2007 bikes are starting to come out early so there are bargins to be had on 06 spec bikes. I just bought Specialised XC FSR which is £1k bike 06 model for £400. so deals to be had across the rangesgood luck

The Punisher 0
i think just clip the pedal... minimal damage maximum output... only use the bike to commute to work and back keeps me fit and save loads of money on gyms and fuels... i'll be sure to think about you sitting in your car at rush hour when most citys are totaly grid locked..while i will fly past you.. as your wasting your money, time and getting fat and unfit lol J
aad 0
I have a carrera kracken in blue, front disc brakes, shimano gears,x rims 24 speed.had it for 7 yrs 2 punctures been to work and back many times on this bike. The new carrera's look like a good bike.fitting s/c next yr.And it is best to stay of the road i always use cycle paths and the pavement so i can run pedestrians over ,what ever you do dont go on the road to dangerous you get hurt that way,one morning not long back in July i was in my truck going down a single carriage way and watched a guy get it from behind on his bike by a 44 tonne truck about 45 mph he was not expecting it .infact nobody ought to go on the road with bikes not worth it you get killed. this guy went about 10 ft in the air. goonersteve 0
Yeah Carrera's are pretty decent bikes. But as RCF said, you'll probably find a better deal going to an independant specialist and you will def get better advice from them too. What sorta price range are you lookin at mate? I used to have a 'Marin', which are spot on, but all depends what you wanna spend.

dellert 0
I like Halfrauds!!!I like the fact that I can get Screenwash for £2.50 a Gallon from GSF, and you can go to Halfrauds and get a Gallon of Pre mixed Screenwash for £5!!!! But hey its OK cos it comes in a variety of colours and its on Buy two get one Free! So after a quick Vorderman moment thats £2.50 for 3 Gallons waterdown wash from GSF, or 3 Gallons of waterdown wash from Halfrauds for a cool £10! Food for thought...............................Group buy on Pink Screen wash?!
