VR6_Absy 0
I didn't wrap mine but wish i had. They give off a massive amount of heat which effects performance because you ain't getting the exhaust away quick enough and your heating up the cold air intake which aint good.Mine runs well when cold ish but when i've been running around quite a bit i do notice a bit of a downturn in performance.Just waiting on my wrap to arrive and then the beauty is coming off ... bleeding knuckles and all. Eat this 2
worth it for piece of mind if nowt else it really is hot and it possibly gives better power wrapped
cornish pixie 0
A tip I picked up sometime ago for using exhaust wrap is to to soak it in water before using it, this makes it easier to work with and allows it to stretch a little. Hope this helps someone.
cadguy77 0
i found the wrap only needed to be slightly damp (not soaked). Made the whole wrapping process miles easier
Ciaran 4
u will also find if u do soak it properly it will expand slightly so that when it dries it will go tighter so all good!!
