Eat this 2 Posted October 23, 2006 Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 i assume the carpet is there for insulation?would be better for the charger to remove it? when u turn the car off the charger and inlet mani get pretty hot just sat there stewing in their own gasses surely it would turn the bonnet into a bit of a heat sink for them?would it knacker the paint on the bonnet? Eat this 2 Posted October 23, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 Take it off you big girl!! hehe i did it tonight i cant tell if its louder as the cars pretty loud out the back bonnet only got mildly warm in about 15 miles mainly tootling with the odd spurt charger and mani seem to be a bit cooler but too early to tell yet Link to post Share on other sites
