wabzo 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Share Posted October 25, 2006 I have a 1996 golf vr6, and was wondering if anyone knew the name of the factory fitted alarm and immobiliser as the insurance comp need this and all it has on the key fob is CONLOG. Russ_vr6 12 Posted November 11, 2006 Report Share Posted November 11, 2006 conlog did loads of different alarms mate,the number on the end is what model alarm it is u can get a 200 300 400 600 800 900 and 950+ (which i got )i dont suupose u have a certificate with the car? if not find out where ur car was bought from and give em a ring as it might still be on there system depending if they running kdms or kerridge,both should show past 7 years of history,approx,so worth checkin Link to post Share on other sites
xyber 1 Posted November 29, 2006 Report Share Posted November 29, 2006 yep logic series alarms, slight problem is that they where declassified as cat 1 systems years ago according to the thatcham website so you wont get that much off your premium compared to if it was a full cat 1.
