What trolly jacks have people got?

Now my car is lowered at the back as well as the front I I can't get my std Halfrauds 2 tonne jack under the car at the front. And I aint't gonna be using the VW wind up jack unless I really have to!

yeah ive been wondering this one for ages. I usually get my dad to break his back lifting the car while i position the jack, but i was thinking what happens when you actually get a puncture on the road and your on your own ?

Its even harder for me as my SWG side skirts cover the lip where the standard jack would go. i think i'm gonna have to cut little bits out of the skirt from underneath :(

Well, I used the block of wood method today and it worked a treat, however Olly's point is valid.

I did try and use the VW jack from the boot but it didn't look like it was gonna work too well so I didn't go much further with it. Also its a bitch to get out at the moment because i've put a disc changer in and not cut the carpet yet!

I'm surprised you guys have a problem.

I'v got a mitsi GTO which has been lowered by 40mm and I can do it when I drive it on the blocks.

Must be some very low golfs out there ...

Matthew - I used to live in Billingham. Right up your way. Do people still drive up Stockton high street on a friday night? or have they completly pedestrianised it now?

PS - my other half (Absenth Fairy [spelling]) has just bought a VR6 hence Im trawling this site for useful info.

Adam
