JohnnyP 0 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Share Posted November 12, 2006 How many miles of 'normal' driving have you got left when the petrol tank needle is at the bottom of the red zone?On my old golf cl I found out the hard way that I had 30 miles when it got onto the white line - anyone know roughly what it it on a vr6? :-* Just to help with those 'sod it I'll carry on till I get to that cheaper petrol station' situations!! purple highline monster 0 Posted November 13, 2006 Report Share Posted November 13, 2006 its never good to pull all the shite from the bottom of your tank anyway, knackers the lift pump and gets up to the injectors, if you cant afford to run a vr with at least a 1/4 tank you shouldnt have one! Besides, whats up with whippin the tank out and makin sure there's no shit to be processed? That cant be a big job!!I'd lose me house and declare bankruptcy before i got rid of me golf!!
