id say no point mate,just get a re map and if u have already got 1 the nu wont gain anythin

i just converted mine from obd1 to obd2,

i gained 9bhp & 26lbft,

not only that, i have also gained better mpg, and hasn't stalled since, not to mention now uses a much better maf sensor

so whats involved in the swop i take it the inlet manifold would have to be changed

the parts you need for the conversion:

ecu

transponder box & key

loom

inlet manifold

throttle body

maf sensor

lambda sensor

and the plastic pipe that goes between the throttle body and maf sensor

Ecu needs to be matched to the immobiliser/transponder/ignition key else it won't start, so ideally you need all the bits from the same donor car.

If you're REALLY lucky, (like me) the donor car's ignition key will be the same cut as the car you're OBD IIing.. lol!

We used a 95 Passat for the bits and my car is an old '91 mk2, the keys were the same bloody cut, couldn't believe it.
