HiPurVR6 0
I have a set of these headlights and I'm trying to get the rings to illuminate without the side light coming on. I've heard that this can be done but don't know how to do it! Any advise would be great. Cheers!!
thegoth 5
Hi,I've just checked mine. The rings are my sidelights. The outside 'projectors' come on as dipped beam, the inside lamps being my full beam.TG
HiPurVR6 0
Know what you mean, but my projector lights glow when on side lights, get bright when on dipped beam. Then the inside lamps come on when on full. The rings are on all the time.I know I'm not the only one with this so can it be altered?
thegoth 5
As far as I can tell the only light coming out of my projectors is being focused from the rings, especially a particularly bright LED behind the Hella logo.

vr6madmike 0
I thought that if u took you keys out with the side lights on that it was just the rings phil, when you start your engine with side lights on the middle lights up too!

Mot 0
you should have got a little "brass thing" to bridge the lights (dont remember if it was the fuse box or relay you put it in)i have the instruction to my celis' somewhere, ill have a look for you.did any of you guys have to pay extra for the wiring that you use on the passenger side to connect the light? cost me an extra £30 and all it is is literally a silly little loom! I haven't used mine. Did anyone else?Older Mk3s had a different headlamp connector. The Cellis require the new, ovally, type. I was lucky, the previous owner had already shelled out for the adapters when they'd had to replace chipped headlamps.TG
