You have 2 settings. If you put the switch to 1 it will measure from each time you start the car.

If you switch it to 2 it will measure from the last time you reset it.

I assume you know how to reset but if not, hold the switch as far left or right as possible for a couple of seconds, depending on whether you want to reset 1 or 2.

Hope this helps :-)

Also the trip computer has some hidden things like a digital rev counter.

Turn the ignition on Hold down the button that switches between total miles and trip display (opposite the clock adjustment buttons) keep holding it down and turn the igntion off then still holding the button down start the engine. The display should change and by pressing the same button you can scroll through about 9 things. Quite pointless but interesting.

I think this may be similar to the way in which the service interval indicator is reset/changed.

adjustment for widescreen wiper interval

Next question?

Turn the wipers to intermitant - pull stalk down.

Turn back to off, wait desired time and then turn back to intermitant. The time the wipers were off in the middle will be the new interval. works from 1 to 20 seconds and resets to about 7 when the ignition is turned off.
