shay 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 HelpI have a Logic 900 fitted to my VR6 from the dealer when it was 1st sold, i just insured the car and they want proof it is fitted, i dont have any proof except for the user manual and to top it off i have heard this alarm isnt cat1 standard anymore, what can i do? i need some advice, the only other solution is get a new alarm which i dont really want to do.Shay Link to post Share on other sites
tubby 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Report Share Posted December 4, 2006 You have to take your car to an insurance aproved alarm fitting centre they will check the alarm and tell you what catagory it is ,if its a cat 1 your sorted if not they will tell you what it is anyway .You then decide if you want to keep the catagory alarm you have or upgrade ,either way you will get a certificate of installation saying what catagory your alarm is and this you can give to your insurance company proving it`s installation compliance.virgin Link to post Share on other sites
