Top Speed?

Dont know if anyone already asked this in here.

But anyway, whats the top speed you got out of your standard VR? (6)

Already been asked mate about 3 weeks ago, just type it in the search mate.

The findings of this post were;

Basically they will do about 140 standard and maybe 150 charged.

If your speedo reads more its inaccurate.

That'll save you the hassle of looking if you can't be bothered.

iv been told 150 is possible standard dunno if that true, says 140 i the book and most cars will usually do more than the book

mine made 165 (on tomtom and road angel) in germany, samvr6 can vouch for it as i was chasing his evo.

ditto my speedo has read a 3 figure speed confimed by tom tom satelite speed reading of 150, in Germany of course :$ only done it once as thats enough, my car is completely standard except the exhaust, it is an OBD2 Highline on 89k so it may have a little more power than an earlier car but not a lot, its just well looked after and has been serviced at the correct intervals by VW all its life

I had to see it for myself, done 142 down bypass easy and slowed right down after. Bit too slow

So syncros are 190 bhp? wow wee

ahh you meant the normalfwd vr6 of jakes? i thught he meant the std syncro he fetched wich is now charged i believe
