andylaurence 0
More posts needed? How about discussing the relative performance of a Sierra Cosworth and a 1600cc diesel automatic estate? Yup' date=' the video is now on You Tube![/url'] Proof, if it were ever needed that track knowledge is worth 100bhp. The Cosworth has just over 200bhp, and the Focus has just over 100bhp.Cheers,Andyim watchin the vid now looks very neat mate but wheres the sound? The original is 350MB, so I had to resize it. I tried a couple of bits of software to re-encode it, but neither could find the audio track. You're not missing much though. With the CVT gearbox, you just hear a constant 4000rpm the whole way round. The rattle just goes a little quieter on the brakes! There's a little tyre squeal here and there too If you reckon you can get it under 100MB and keep the sound, then I'll send you the original. Interestingly, You Tube says the video should be under 100MB and under 10 minutes. This was just over 10 minutes Still uploaded though.Cheers,Andyit has cvt? That's the comedy part of it. It's a diesel CVT automatic.Cheers,Andy
andylaurence 0
The Fiesta had a very changeable track from dry through damp to wet and the Focus would have been even quicker if it hadn't been held up by those two Beemers being driven by your usual BMW drivers ;-)Just watching hte footage makes me so want to go back.TGP.s. Andy if I PM you my address could you send me a full copy your cosire chase for the Event DVD?Yeah, both cars were performing less well than they would have been on a clear, dry track. I want to take my mobile chicane, I mean my BMW next time. As for the video, I can stick it up for download somewhere or post it to you. Not a problem.Cheers,Andy
