any body tryed it. good or bad and whats the diff between the wet and dry kits would these kit damage your standard engine.

dry kits just squirt nitros oxide into the engine

wet kits are FAR better as it injects fuel at the same time

progressive controllers are nice on transmission as it gradually brings in the nos instead of lumping it all in in 1 hit

i believe jake had it on his old beast

and i think theres a guy with a mk2 vr turbo running nos the nutter hehe

According to wizards of noz - the stadard internals for a VR6 are ok for NOS packages up to 300Bhp... I been reading up on it to.. I reckon looking around £800 for kit and install.. they recomend 50Bhp first and take it from there..

Do a google for wizards of nos and read up on there own forum.. there are a few VR questions posted up...

nos will not damage your engine i was running 100bhp nos everyone said ill f**k it up but i had it like it for 4 years and it was fine ! now im runnung 150bhp nos and turbo!!! if you wanna run more than 50/75 bhp id get a controller mini max is the cheapest good luck its very addictive !!!!

i have it. once the car is running right had had a remap i wil be gettin it set up. mines a wet kit 180 quid i payed 2nd hand.

is it a direct port or single ? i would have thought at that price its single dp is better but you will still love it!!! have you got a controller ?

what would be the best kit to get also dont want to break the bank. just really for the strip got hooked after the last (run what ya brung) day lol. standard engine six branch ss system and filter also whats the purge kit all about and what do they do.

purge kit just vents the system so you have pure nos up to the engine cos you can get air in the system. wizzard of nos is a good kit

purge just fires nos out of vents fast and furious style it does naff all to the power

i was on wizzards of nos forums for a while and they do REALLY seem to know there stuff and have a pretty low opinion of some so called experts

thats where i was looking at the wizzard stuff seems to be a safe bet to go with. i was also told once that the safest way to use it was something on the pedal that only let the nos through when the throttle was fully open is this standard with the kits or is it still done with a button.

afaik the button only arms the system and the switch under the peddle actually turns it on its a complete waste of nos to use it at part throttle

the switch fixes to the throttle in the engine bay so when the throttle butterfly is fully open it the fires in the nos it should come with the kit

i would go for the sb10016 cos its direct port which means you will get the same going into each pot {better for the engine } but ask for an 11lb bottle cos the 5s are to small!! they wont last long on a big engine. they will only give you 25bhp jets with the kit but if i was you id go for 75bhp jets and a controller if you can aford one if not send me a pm might be able to get you one cheap hope your clutch is good ? where abouts are you ?

how much is that kit and will it cool the inlet temp??

what does the controller do, live in reading berkshire,yeah had a new clutch in it a year ago lol.

not cheep !! £650 nos is about -200 so yes it will cool the inlet temp frost forms on the outside of the inlet manifold

the controller means you can run alot more bhp!! without one the nos comes in with a big thump higher the 75 jets with out one your engine wont like !! the controller you can set it to come in at 75bhp and build it up to 150bhp over a few seconds

so its really worth getting one then how much stress would that put on the engine tho running up to nearly 150 brake mines done nearly a hundred thou and dont really wanna kill it first run down the strip lol what controller would you go for i think i se two on there web site.

the minimax controller will do the job theres a company near me that was selling them for £150 ill see if they got any left its up to you if you get one or not just dont go bigger then 75 bhp jets without. itll go like f**k on 75s

people must be advised that under perfect conditions 75shot is 75bhp but in the real world it will give u more like 55-60 at the most.

i seriously fancy it though might go direct and tap the ports into the inlet manifold!!

not true had mine on the rollers 2 runs with and then 2 with out and it was 76bhp difference so the just were spot on

iv found some do some dont,my mate had it on his 16v clio and power went from 142 bhp 193 bhp with a 50 shot,but then iv had another who only got 30 bhp....i think again it depends on engine condition what rr etc etc

does make a good difference tho,took his quarter mile time down from 15.7 to 14.4
