lee060 3
worth doing on an OBD1 2.8 but on the OBD2 2.8 not as much point the Tb is already slighly larger than OBD1 . Liam

VR6_Absy 0
I bought one from alpina527@aol.com which was a standard OBD1 throttle body machined out. Can't say if it made any difference because I did all my bits in one hit. I don't know if it's better or worse than a Corrado body but gives you something to consider ;-)
Steve @ 1
The corrado and OBDI golfs have the same size butterfly's, but the corrado doesnt have the ramp like the golf. The alpina bodies feature a larger butterfly as well as porting. I am running a alpina golf body on my rado, nice little mod. Also worth noting is that the corrado has a stiffer spring arrangment which results in a stiffer accel pedal.
