Littleal_84 0 Posted December 29, 2006 Report Share Posted December 29, 2006 My 96 vr6 judders (like as if it is in the wrong gear) in every gear below 2000-3000 revs. its feels really horrible to drive. Any idea???????Its also hard to get into gear sometimes not always thou. could this be related? Link to post Share on other sites
shail 0 Posted December 29, 2006 Report Share Posted December 29, 2006 Sounds like a HT / spark problem. Check for sparks coming out of your coil pack around where the HT leads go in to it(common problem, as the coil pack casing cracks causing arcing). Mine was doing this yesterday after it had been stood for a week. A run up an A road sorted it as it got rid of the damp. If you do see sparks when the engine is on, do a search on here for 'coilpack' and you'll find a whole load of useful info. I'd also do a search for 'MAF' as a dodgy MAF can cause symptoms similar to the ones you describe. Link to post Share on other sites
