VR6Pete 1,455 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Share Posted January 4, 2007 OBDI The OBD1 port is situated behind the blanking plates above the ashtray. Remove the ashtray by pressing the button and the unit will slide out. Carefully pull/lever out the rightmost and largest blanking panel from below. Rememeber which way up it went. Use the new hole to find the catches on the next piece, and the next. The panels simply clip back in again. Make sure you have them the right way up. Note: Later OBD1 engines have the same port as OBD2, see below. OBDII The OBD2 diagnostic port is located to the left hand side of the ashtray situated in the centre console. Remove the ashtray by pressing the button and the unit will slide out. The plastic cover that hides the port slides over into the space vacated by the ash tray!
