Focker-out 0
Depends on the year of the corrado engine namely are both running coil packs or dizzys, if so i believe that its a direct replacement, but believe the ECUs are different
shail 0
When I had my 2.9 block put in i didn't need any mods. The corrado block was mated to my original manifold as I had a later type throttle body and coilpack, as I have a leter OBDII car. So I'd image on your OBDI it'll slot straight in. jaysVR6 2
You wont notice any difference tbh and if your engine is running fine, your waisting your money. The only reason I had mine bored out to 2.9 was because I had nasty bore ware. However, if you're going to do it yourself, then I suppose it'll be an interesting project for you but if your paying someone to do it and have to buy a good 2.9 motor, your far better off buying a supercharger to see proper power. Why bother with all that hasstle for all of 10bhp? Plus all the worry if you've bought a good 2.9 engine?
