madmonkee 0 Posted July 6, 2004 Report Share Posted July 6, 2004 i want to put an oil catch tank in connected to the crankcase breather pipe, to remove all liquids from going back into my induction, now do i have to put that temp sensor back in or can i just get rid of all together? What does it do?? Also would it be better if i put a crank breather filter on as well? Will this higher/lower the octane at all?? any helps welcome Link to post Share on other sites

jcorallo 0 Posted July 6, 2004 Report Share Posted July 6, 2004 its not a temp sensor - its supposed to be a heater - to stop a plug of ice developing in that pipe in winter.BUT I bet if you unplug it and peer into the connector in the 'heater' part you will see thats its a dummy - no parts what-so-ever - it does nothing.Jules[ Edited Tue Jul 06 2004, 11:48PM ] Link to post Share on other sites

But yeah, that sensor is a dummy one! Anyone removed the heater pipes to the throttle body?
