jon@vagworx 0
You need more coverage of the charger pulley.Does your belt run around the back of the alternator pulley???If not, do it.

Eat this 2
zr2s use a toothed belt but vortechs use the main serpentine belt
mk3anni 0
Dunno why your having a problem, I never once had slip on my 10psi pully. Is the 12 psi that much smaller????
Eat this 2
no idea i wouldnt imagine it was that small
jon@vagworx 0
Is yours with or without aircon?? have you got the tensioner pulley???Sounds like you could do with a new belt, if its non ac then don't bother with the one that comes with it, use a good quality 7 ribbed belt. You can also put some belt dressing on it which will help no end. Also play about with the tension too. They don't normall give too much problems till you get over 14psi. Eat this 2
with aircon the stock tensioner is repalced by the charger i think.i have an extra pulley it needs a new bearing before i get it fitted the belt has about 15k on it i have another 1 im going to try and its VERY tight as it is i dont want it killing the water pump etc
chazrad 16
Millsy, What 7-rib belt do you suggest using with a VF 'charger on a non-a/c engine, if you are saying the one with the kit is not up to it?Eat this..Sorry, I do not mean to hijack your thread.
