Eat this 2
mine used to sit at 90 but with the lower temp thermostat in it sits at 75 and goes upto 90 in traffic it has a knock on effect on the oil which sits at low 70s when cruising now
mpgscott 0
Many thanks for the info.so Eat This is there a couple of different types of thermostat, as mine seems to be the same as yours. Why did you change yours to a lower value? does it not effect the ecu? Thanks
Eat this 2
it lets the water circulate through the rad at 75 instead of 90 degrees its a newspeed (i think) only about £
mk3anni 0
Neuspeed, not newspeed. Why would it effect the ecu????

VR6Rich 3
Im just having a low temp thermostat from NEUSPEED (available from AwesomeGTI) fitted while my engines in bits. At least I know what to look for with it fitted! They are 180 degrees F which is 82.2 degrees C.
