I know that the car's had paint on the rear so played the risk and can always just paint a bit of clear over the top if it all went very wrong, but it's fine Link to post Share on other sites
AWB70 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Share Posted April 24, 2007 800 grit would be better for keying basecoat and putting clear over would be an idea too, without the clear the base will oxidise and go white, u know that bit where u polish it and looks mint then drys as if the polish is still on, thats the effect Link to post Share on other sites
