I have been told that i would be able to use the box out of a Bora V5, dont know if the flywheel and clutch is the same though. Any idea's Link to post Share on other sites

gavinvr6 0 Posted March 14, 2007 Report Share Posted March 14, 2007 the 6 speed box swap in the mag was for a mk2, and the work involved was quite a lot, not just flywheel and clutch, but certainly gotta be able to do this to a modern ish vr if it can be done to the dinosaur mk2 Link to post Share on other sites

bigpol 0 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 ive just purchased from ebay a 02M box off a 4 motion, the box bolts straight up to my block but the mountings are completely different, there is a conversion plate available but dont know if its for the 6pot box ive yet to offer it all up to the shell yet to see what i need, the box is massive in comparrison to the 5 cogger some chassis leg alterations may be in order???
