petervr6 0 Posted March 3, 2007 Report Share Posted March 3, 2007 ok went in the boot today the car seems a bit damp and under the spare slightly damp prob from the carpet being damp/wet and the N/S rear light seems to have water in the light itself any ideas why the boot is wet and why the light has wayer in the light unit.cheers pete. spindat45 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Report Share Posted March 4, 2007 If the seal around the light has perished then water will enter the light cluster itself as well as running down into tyre well soaking the carpet in the process. To confirm, remove parcel shelf and lower your back seats. Get someone to throw some water or direct a hose onto the tailgate/roof and you should be able to see exactly where its leaking in from.
