It is put under heaviest load when you come up on the clutch pedal as you move off. The juddering will be due to a warped clutch plate. Sounds like you need a new clutch even though it may not be slipping. The bearing will be as old as the clutch plate and cover. All three form part of a complete clutch kit. If you do have to repalce the clutch, it would be a false economy not to replace your timing chain & tensioner/guides at the same time if they have not already been changed, as the gearbox would have to be removed again to change them.Kevin Link to post Share on other sites
