4 Awg wiring help

Hi, ive spent the last two hours trying to figure out where i can pass through a 4awg power cable through the engine bay. I found a plastic grommet bottom left, under the water expansion tank, but it doesnt look like the right place.

Has anyone got one of these cables through from the engine bay, if so please help, where did you poke it through?

I put a smaller gauge wire through a rubber gromet where all the the electrics go through from the engine bay to the inside of the car. N/S, underneath the coolant bottle, was a bit tricky and did need two people.

Thanks!, really dont want to start drilling holes especially when you cant see whats behind it.

if u do drill make sure u re seal it cos u will fill the car with water when it rains otherwise i know i see it all the time at work !!!!

Should be able to get it through the grommet behind/below the expansion tank.

P.S. im moving this to the ice/electricals section.

I got one that size through the big flat grommet behind the expansion tank... was a right pain though because mines LHD so theres loads of wires and crap there!

My wire goes through a gromet on the right hand side of the exp. tank, then under the scuttle panel near the pollen filter, through another gromet then out from under the glove box.

Is there an easier way to do this - i've heard of people putting it in the back of the fuse box???
