Centere console removal

how do i remove the center console so that i can get into the gearbox to fit a b&m Short shift

unscrew the gear knob, unclip the gearstick surround and remove, undo and remove the handbrake surround, then undo the plastic nuts that hold the rear of the console and undo the screws on the side at the dash end that hold the front of the console and pull it out
