purple highline monster 0
I would have put the Mk1 GTI at the top of the list! if it werent for that and its predecessor "the beetle" then hardly any of those cars would have ever come about except the porsches

lee060 3
G60 16v (aka super golf) they made 71 didnt they? not 17 ? they sell for the region of £25,000 nowdays what about the AUDI S1 quattro Group B spec imo be No.1 !! Heavan for me that car!! then the Mk1 Golf Gti then the super golf G40 would have to be up there along with G60 edition one , the Vr6 engine should have a whole place to its self , say 0 in my world one above 1 :P agree ? Paul1982 0
Lol - Well some lovely cars there but also some expensive ones. Affordable to everyone (in my eyes) is upto a £10k car.Yes there are some awesome upgrades and specials but then your talking big bucks.I agree - the mk1 golf should be higher plus the Beetle should be in there pushing the amg off the bottom. [/quote']My appologys...they made 70 of the golf Limited.......and i dont think the G40 POLO was an engineering masterpiece really?they are quite quick but only same horse power as a normal Gti in a car that couldnt really handle the power due its light weight if im honest! they are frightening to drive as they are very skitish and always wheel spinning
lee060 3
^ fair point made on the polo . what about the 16S Gti Mk1 golf??? the 1.6 16v that they made when they needed more power and before they did the 1.8 , you know the oettinger engine one .

mike 6
i may get shot here but i think the golf vr is too high up the list if it even belongs on it at all id deffo put the quattro higher upi kinda agree, i mean the rallye had away better total package with the AWD and if your including escort cosworth (contriversal) thats gotta be higher than a vr6 to be fair just a beast. i would have put audi s3 (now under 10k 2nd hand) somewhere in my top ten. btw you can get a porker 911 for under 10k but its the old classic shape and you cant really get a turbo for that price...
