Replacing front seats??

I desperately want to change my front seats to something with a bit more support like some recaros. I currently have standard leather ones.

What are my options? Can I modify some old Cosworth seats with the MK3 subframes??

Help appreciated - I really cannot take the lack of support much longer, especially lumbar support!!

Find some proper Mk3 Recaros, they are a far superior seat than the std ones, pop up on E bay occasionally

there is a set on there now about £250 i think but im bettin they will up up a lot more

I got leather recaro's in my GTi and they are much better than the standard ones in my highline - would love to swap them over, but 5-door seats won't work in a 3-door!

Ebay ones tend to go for alot more unless you can get the bloke to end the auction early for cash and pickup?

Surely the fronts would swap over from a 5 to 3 door?

yeah they will....but they dont tilt! so you wont be able to get in the back!
