Cost of a respray

Anyone had a good respray done, or know someone who has, and what it cost? Would it cost a lot more to have it done in a different colour?

I reckon you are looking at £1k upwards for a decent job.

Changing colour will cost more due to the need to paint the engine bay and inside of the door/tailgate areas.

For me this seems to be the hardest part of modding a car- finding a decent bodyshop.

That was going to be my next question, where can i find a good one. Ive seen some shocking paint jobs. I was guessing around the 1k mark

If you want to change the colour and get a decent result you're looking at a bare-metal respray, which will cost you a hell of a lot more than £1000, no matter where you get it done.

Yeah i was thinking cream too. I have the dark blue interior that people dont like, but i reckon it'd look sweet with a bit of creamy leather. Prices seem to range from 300-1K depending how much u want covered.
