purple highline monster 0
i rekon you deserve that if you take your mums "datsun" to a car show! thats what happens at the Bhagdad "Rice meet" that looks like its parked at a boot fair as opposed to a show though? i expect some Caravan Utilising Nomadic Travellers or P1 KEY`s where monitoring the car park and fleeced the poor guy while he was looking at utter tat, check under the jack...its some crappy old board game or something...hey i should be a detective On a serious note though over the years i have seen and encountered some very dubious people at Dub shows, not least the 4 Jamaican guys walking around inters a few years ago smoking joints and eyeing up cars in the car parks! i know its a car show and people look at cars....but these guys appeared very interested in one if you get my drift! unfortunately we live in a world were loyalty to a brand dont stop the "have nots" stealing of the people who have nice stuff and pay for it with money they work hard to earn, lets face it if someone nicks something off your dub its only gonna be put onto another dub somewhere else!!! and i for one will gladly put a big dent in my own bonnet with someones face if i caught anyone tampering with mine!!! i will gladly dent any of your bonnets too if i saw them doing to you guys motors i hate thieves!!!!!!!!!! When I was at Stonor Park last year, I was sitting near my Mulberry VR6 (before I sold it) and there were 2 Jamaicans looking at it and they were saying what a lovely colour it was. One of them had a walking stick and smoking pot. They seemed to be more interested in the car park than the show. Must admit did feel a bit uncomfortable as they were hanging about a bit of a long time.BTW, I do have a new Veedub (black Colour Concept Cabriolet Mk3.5) now and will post it up this week!Jon Had a black Mk1 Sportline Cab, then a Mulberry VR6 Highline and now a black Colour Concept Cabriolet Mk3.5. EmkayVR6 0
You would have thought someone would have noticed surely!!!! I'm not suprised it has happened though, scooby parts fetch a lot of money, i remember reading a thread on one of the scooby forums last year about a guy who was attacked with a claw hammer and baseball bat as he pulled up on his own driveway and got out to open the garage door, he was lucky to be alive from the sounds of it
