Guest dadofgromit
I am interested in a T4 Multivan VR6 but not sure what to look for.It is a 97 Multivan VR6/103kw/140ps.Why do these T4´s have less power than normal Vr6´s?It´s had 2 ownersand has 155,000km.Are there common problems? If anyone can give me advice before buying it would be most apreciated...Stu.. ScoobyAndy 0
if its an auto then be carefull as the gearbox will be close to dying if not already changed. If it does need a box then your looking at around the 1700+ vat area. a manual conversion may be possable.... i'll let you know on friday - when i've done mine appart from that they are pretty good vehicles.Dont know why they have less power, maybe a golf ECU will fit?? plug and play power increase!! nice if it works.Andy
IbiVR 0
The have longer thinner runners in the inlet manifold, and different cams. All to increase torque, drops power a bit, but is better for the purpose in the van!Tom.
