vr6madmike 0
I have been very kindly lent my mates vr6 induction kit, iv put it on and bloody hell is it loud! Its great having the noise when you want to be seen but I also dont want to do that all the time! The other thing is I have heard the vr can lose quite a bit of low end grunt due to heat soak (its a K&N 57i) so do I keep it on or go back to my pannel filter and modded air box???? Paul1982 0
My Green cotten air filter is one of the best in my eyes - very quiet for around town driving and when on full blast it sounds beautiful.I agree heat soak can create a problem but very minimal.
vr6madmike 0
Ive been thinking about the heat soak and as the air has to run through the manifold which is red hot because it on top of the engine cant see it making that much difference, its more the noise dunno if I can put up with it all the time! Im not interested in whats best read all the threads on here, I only put it on as I was given it.
