Been on vacation for 3 weeks, so I havent been driving that much with it. Been taking it easy. But have some pulls at 11 psi, and it pulls straight out from 3500 -3700.

60mph in 6th gear I have 2900 rpm. So its abit short. Well see what I will do with it. Really just wanna use the car now. Abit bored off all the work on it.

It sounds deep at idle. Not very loud when driving normal. The loudest sound when cruising is the damn 044 pump. Yesterday, I got low fuel, and the 044 was sounding like a normal pump. Then when I put more gasoline to it, the damn lodness came again.

You can put a rubber sleeve round the 044 just fine.

Mine's mounted with one of these brackets (inc rubber sleeve) on a plate isolated by rubber couplings - http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p14597/SYTEC-FUEL-PUMP-&-FILTER-BRACKET/product_info.html

I use a Walbro GSS340 in-tank to feed it and it's very quiet. I've heard some 044s that are very loud when A) fed by a stock in tank and B) mounted solidly with no rubber isolation.

Thank you very much :) I have used wrapping around it for 2 years. Still looks like new.

The bracket looks very nice. I do have rubber couplings so nothing exept rubber are hitting the chassi. And I have a asfalt sleeve under the back seat, pluss a rubber sleeve around it.

Funny thing is, that it got a quit nice summing sound when it was low on fuel. Full tank, and the screaming started again. The GSS340 will defently be a summer upgrade. Right now, ita all money on a Spaxx RSX coilover setup, and get the car legal for 2 new years. Not legal with turbo, but EU standard legal.

Cool, the rubber mountings help! It sounds like your intank pump can't keep up with the 044. The Walbro will sort that :-)

Some new stuff going on to the car. Spax coilovres wasnt made from the factory yet, so I desided to drop them. But anyway, here are some pics from new parts and a trip to Bugrun Sweden 2 weeks ago.
