Petesvw 0
Is that with a new slave cyl, or just the clutch? Does seem steep as i have heard you can get the chains done for that!

Ickyketseddie 89
When i first goot my mk2 vr the clutch went. Cost me £338.99. (including VAT parts and labour)But it is a squeeze in a mk2 and he said they'd have probably been a hour or twos less labour int a corrado or mk3. That wasn't done by vw though it was by Lion Garage in Northants. Top job done too! So I guess in a mk3 350 does sound slightly over the odds mate. Hope this helps.Ed
Bigjobbo 0
I did mine myself. It's a peace of piss, just let the rack pinion bolt go and drop the frame, otherwise you struggle with the rear mount. I would estimate at no more than 3 hrs labour. I got a non-gen clutch for 90 notes. Also when i thought i had a bit of diff rumble, which leads to the case exploding, i priced a new ccm box at 1200 quid.good luck
