again though the VR6 was designed as an autobahn cruiser not a nippy town car or racing car, especially the highline, that was aimed at the luxury matket to get customers away from saab and Bmw, it is a good testament to volkswagen though as all you need to do to make a VR much better is put a decent suspension kit on it, even with standard engine wise as mine is, its still a very able car maybe not as agile as a 106 but then that is a GAY car!!!

yea i know that mate, thats teh problem most people think its a peformance car and some people slag it off cus its not fast enough, but handling wise it stil could have been better as its a 20grand+ car from new,and its stil teh model up from a golf gti..

Looking at it like that it shouldnt have been on teh program as the vr6 was meant to be direct competitor with teh bmw 325 not the bmw M3 it was up against in the program apart from teh 12 grand 106 its ferrari, honda nsx some stupidly good cars.

French cars are boring, citreon do come up with some relly good designs, but they are just always missing a special ingredient......Quality!!! i dont think anybody...not even the Japs or Italians build a car quite like the Germans do.
