3narf 0 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 I've got this sound...It's a drumming/thrumming/throbbing, at engine speed, from the airbox system (I think). It does it at tickover, when warm; it usually stops after the fan kicks in.It doesn't seem to affect performance and doesn't sound mechanical.Anyone else got any experience of this?BTW, it's a '97 Sharan.
