kobi 0
As you will all be aware, there are a trillion ?! air induction/filter kits for the VR.Which one is best recommended?I've heard story's about losing power on certain kits? Is this true, last thing I want is to LOSE power on a standard VR6! :@ Cheers.
tandino 1
Im thinking of going down this route to - just come from a turbo car where power gains were how shall i say - easy 8o) ..Best bet is to either get a panel filter in the stock airbox as youve already got a good cold air feed - perhaps modify the inlet trunking/airbox itself a bit to get a smoother route for airflow. As for induction kits i know the BMC kit is very well regarded as this iirc has a cold air feed in the kit - i know its quite expensive though - £180 quid ish??Pete. VR6Pete 1,455
Get the BMC CDA from stealth racing. there are a fair few VR's on here, and you will be happy with the gains and sound of this baby.Pete
DundeeDub 0
BMC CDA is the only way to go, the money is very well spent, it performs well and looks good with its carbon cannister in you engine bay

acf8181 0
just make sure you get a kit that has the cone inclosed in its own heatshield (as the bca is), otherwise it draws in hot air (which the vr6 creates a lot of) which saps power.
kobi 0
thanks chaps, i think i'm going to invest* in the BCA. I've heard a lot about the Piper x - Great sound but mostly i've read the BCA is better.* The car is currently going to be on sale. If it doesnt sell in the next two weeks then i'm going to take a wedge of cash and sort out the performance.
